Pictures of the kids and other news...

I considered quitting the blog thing, just because I am not really sure if it is even being read, but got encouraged by a friend (thanks, K!) to not give it up... I guess it is kind of theraputic in a way to blog and tell people my story... Sometimes it is boring, but knowing that I can look back on what I wrote and see my story, even if I am the only one reading it, will be fun nonetheless!

I got new photos of the kids. My friend Andy is a photographer and does wonderfully, so he was kind enough to give me some of the pics... I love them really!
We had a sad thing happen in our family yesterday. My sisters cat died. Krinkles was like 15 years old, so please pray for my family. It is a big loss in our family...
Also, as some of you know, the Journey, our church has taken a "hibernation period" Because our pastor resigned... It has been an extremely hard transition for us. Our denomination has this standing rule I guess that says that if a pastor resigns, that he has to seperate himself (and his family) from the church... So needless to say, our best friends aren't allowed to talk to us. I guess it has turned into their choice as well in respect of the rule, as well as a chance to kind of sort out what they plan to do with their future. They moved here to start the journey from Pennsylvania. So, anyhow they may need to move back to find new work there. I am not sure of their situation because I don't know if they even are, but if they were we aren't allowed to speak to them for the seperation time of about 6 months I guess... I love them though and their little boy turns 1 year old next month, so that is another sad thing. We have gone back to visiting New Vision every Sunday which is kind of nice since my in laws lead worship there, it gives us a chance to see them because we don't really see them much otherwise... And the preaching is wonderful there as well. I really like it. It is really a lot different from what I got used to with the Journey though. Michael did interactive preaching which really got people involved and thinking... And the fact that the journeys services were only one hour where NV's are quite abit longer. I was concerned upon going back that we would have to face a lot of questions about the stuff w/ the journey, but luckily our home church is so accepting that they just kind of love to have us back and don't really ask too many questions about it... (don't get me wrong, I don't mind answering questions about the situation or anything, just didn't want to be bombarded).
Other then that, it is wierd that it is getting to that time of year again. It is freezing out all of a sudden which typically wouldn't be such a bad thing, but the kiddo's get antsy being in all the time... so I guess I will have to get good w/ layering and having them go outside anyhow, funny thing is that they look like that kid from the Christmas story who can't put their arms down because they get so padded up with their winter stuff on. So I am not really ready for the holidays, but I can't say that I ever am actually! I am excited to play with the kids in the snow though, last year Wy was too little to really enjoy it... he did a couple times, but this year should be great!
We got our helicopter sounding car fixed today, cost a pretty penny, but luckily my sweet husband didn't have to worry about doing it on his little bit of free time that he has... They fixed it in the morning and it was done. That was really nice. So, we are in better shape from that now.
Hunting season for Ben starts next weekend. I am going to see my friend Michelle, and have some girl time w/ my sis and stuff, so that is really great!
Anyhow, that is all for now... Just wanted to give the updates and say that I would hopefully be blogging a bit more in the future...
Peace ya'll
