My shoes

I have always liked the style of Converse and since they are ever so popular at Target these days, I got some... from my Dad... for Christmas! They are cute :) And I really decided I wanted them, when Em took me to see MWS, and he was wearing them too!!! :)

Four Christmases....at least it will be for us tomorrow...

Nothing much has been going on since the new year... we are still catching up on Christmas gifts and fellowship w/ family since being home. I have also been trying to maintain the cleanliness of this place, which has been a challenge w/ the new toys! Anyhow, I am so thankful for the time w/ my family and George and JoAnn yesterday. I really missed hanging out with them all!

Today I got to go out and spoil myself w/ the purchase of a new purse from my Mom's work (thanks to Aunt Pat's gift certificate!)... I am really enjoying having my hubby home... he has a long weekend this weekend and I am trying to enjoy the time w/ him and soak it in as much as possible ! We don't really get to have him around for this long at a time w/ the hours that he is used to working. Tomorrow, we are going to have gift opening and time w/ my Dad. Odd thing too. I haven't seen him in a year. Since last Christmas. Not that he lives far away either. 15 minutes, actually. Talk about a funny situation. Anyhow, we are going to my sisters, which I am excited for and then spending time w/ my dad, his girlfriend, my grams... and KIRA! :) It will be akward...

This Mornin'

The kids both have a bit of the sniffles, but regardless had a bunch of fun playing in the bin that we packed everything in to take upnorth! We have trouble w/ our very large doggie, fitting everything that we need for a few day trip in our Jeep, so Ben put all our stuff in that bad boy and strapped it to the top of our Jeep for the trip! The kids have had such a blast playing in there! :)

Anyhow, we are still in recovery mode, Kira is stopping in this afternoon for a visit, and we are probably going to bake something... sounds great to me yummm, but eventhough it is kind of nice, we might hunker down, but looking out the window now, we might bust out the double stroller and take a stroll... it isn't too bad out... hmmm
