Saturday. Yay Saturday.

Today, Nichole and I worked in the Duncannon Bouquet. SO much fun to get to know her a bit better and get breakfast with Nichole and the girls.

Got a dozen roses from my darling sweet husband. They are gorgeous, and since I was working at the flower shop that he placed the order at, I got to have a hand in arrangining my own bouquet. They are beautiful.

Today we are celebrating our 6 year anniversary. Kelly and Adam are going to babysit the kids and we are planning on going out to a dinner and a movie date. I am really excited to spend some quality time with Ben, just chatting and enjoying each other. Slow down from the hustle bustle. It will be such a blessing. Thank you friends for doing us this favor and watching the kids!

We got an envelope in the mail today from our little Grams. She sent some photos of our last couple visits in WI. There are a couple with my buddies Rae and Jady. SO beautiful. Miss my friends there quite a bit.

The house

The scary driveway, I seriously marvel at the people that don't have four wheel drive that can get up it.

Its so pretty

Ben's fav fishing place, and my fav place for a beautiful trail walk.

We got to this part of the trail and Adi said, "Awwww Momma," I looked at her puzzled, and she said, "turtle" she thinks that the rocks on the left side form a turtle shell :) So cute.

Harrisburg's capital building at night, while we are driving. :) Not the best pic, but oh well!

I hope today that you get a chance to sit back and enjoy the scenery. <3 Sara

Yesterday was so much fun. Kelly and I made the hugest dough ball ever, which turned into some yummy cinnamon bread :) We had a blast working together. She is really wonderful at what she does. I am feeling sick today so I am taking it a bit easy this afternoon. Making supper for the family and then hoping to head to the park for a walk maybe. It is the perfect day. About 73 degrees and sunny. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Monday

Kel and I had a wonder walk all around the town of New Cumberland yesterday. We talked and walked, talked and walked. It was precious to me. Then we ate. And ate, and ate. Which is what we had just spent the last about 40 or so minutes talking about how we were going to make an effort to refrain from!

Our 6 year anniversary is coming up. They spoiled us to the nth degree and took us to Texas Roadhouse. Delish. Had a perfectly cooked steak, and they even got two awesome appetizers. (The cactus bloomer was my fav!). We had a great time and then came home and I got to skype with my mom for the first time. It was rad.

Today we are home. I have errands to do and chores that need to be done. Hanging that fresh laundry is def on the to do's. Kids are playing and having a blast. They are so precious. We had time to snuggle yesterday and it really blessed this Mommy's heart.

Visited a new church yesterday too, which was a blast. I really enjoyed the worship it was awesome. I am not sure where we will visit next. Hmmmm. The weather is absolutely the best lately. I am so encouraged and blessed right now.

I promised myself that while I spend time in this state with this family, that I would work hard on changing my habits. I am working and giving a ton of effort to not drink so much Coke. Don't bite my nails. Eat a bit better. Get exercise. Working on all of these things. Think that I am doing OK! I had a coke last night, since it was an amazing occasion. My stepmom in law got me some OPI stuff to help harden my nails. It is working and since I have that on my fingers I don't have them in my mouth so much. Awesome. I am eating dessert like daily because we always have an abundance of food, yum. So, working on that. Drinking a lot more water then I used to, and my skin in clearing daily, which I am so amazed at. Guess what I did? I stopped using all the fancy soaps that I was using. I only use a total of two products on my face. And cleanser isn't one of them. Wierd eh? It was kind of a challenge from Kelly for me to stop washing with chemicals. Ok then.
Anyhow, got a screamer in the living room. Timed out for biting her brother.
Yikes
Have a totally blessed Monday

Sunday 5/17/09

Things are wonderful with us. We are doing awesome. Had fun goofin around with Kelly and Donna yesterday. Check out my facebook to see some silly pics! :) Anyhow, we had supper and baked a cake together just like the good ole journey days. Such a blast! This morning we got up and are going to visit a new church. Harrisburg BIC. Then we are off to Nichole and Chris's for Soph's party (she turned three last week). Should be another lovely day. We are truely enjoying our time in PA. Got our checking account opened here and stuff like that. Had to call yesterday because we are having trouble with our laptop. Apparently it needs a complete system recovery. Bum deal dude. The technician that helped me over the phone was really sweet, which made the whole computer troubleshooting time pleasant! :)
Working also on "To Walk and Not Grow Weary". Ben and I spent some time after the kids went to bed reading through the book of Jonah. This devotional study guide will assist me in completing the counseling session of the MDP. Such fun and great learning. Ben and I read the whole book of Jonah out loud and then talked about what we read. Our own little Bible study. The study guide answers questions about the emotions felt in the chapter that it tells you to read. I never understood until reading about Moses what a whiner he was. I would be too if all the people were complaining to me! ;) And Jonah felt frightened by the thought of preaching to Ninevah some pretty scary news to he ran from God, as if you can run from God! Anyways thanks to JoAnn for having me use this tool to get through the counseling section.
Anyhow, off to church we go. Today it is sort of overcast, but I think it will end up being a sunny afternoon!
