Wyatt's first theater trip~!

Ben decided to get Wyatt all spiffed up.....And he took him to his first movie at the theater. It was too cute! He gave him a bath and got him all ready for his first time seeing a movie! They went and saw that Veggie Tales movie that just came out. Adalai and I went shopping while they were in the movie, and came back to pick them up a little early just in case he decided not to sit through the whole thing (or in case he was scared at all) I ended up waiting for quite awhile because he wanted to see it all the way to the end. There was a pretty scary part in it I guess because when I asked him what he thought of the movie he said "Scarry maato (Scary tomato)" eventhough I don't think that the tomato had to do at all with the scariness factor. Ben said that he was a little nervous at first with the huge screen but that Wyatt started to feel better once more little kids came into the theater. It was so sweet that Ben thought of this fun thing to do with our boy. They are such a blessing to me!

Grams today, and a million other things~!

Today is a busy day. We are going to Grams for laundry which of course is one of my favorite days of every week because Grams is so joyful! Ben is coming along this week too which is cool for us! My Mom is going to come over to visit because she is leaving for Texas tomorrow for work. Then in the afternoon I have to drop Ben off at work and then take the dog to the vet because he has had a nasty ear infection for a long time and it needs to be looked at. We did the doctor for Adalai's cough yesterday (doc didn't find anything too concerning, so she wants to keep her off meds for now and see if it fixes itself I guess) and asked about Wy's learning progression to make sure that we are on track. She said that mainly working on colors, shapes and ABC's is the way to go. So we have been doing a lot of coloring, reading and flash cards lately. I am thankful that Adalai's cough is nothing too concerning though because it has started to sound kind of icky lately! I went to the dentist also yesterday, which is always a blast! Tomorrow we have a playdate in the morning until around lunch time and then home for the evening, then on Friday I guess I babysit Sophie. Also "Freezin for Hunger" is friday night and I am pretty sure that my hubby would like to participate, so I am not sure if we are doing that. Well we gotta start getting ready for Grams day today... so off I go!

The weekend....

We had a pretty fun weekend. On Saturday I went to Mayfair to try and get our ipod fixed because it has been broken for quite awhile... They ended up giving me a brand new one! It was so nice... Then we went and hung out with some friends for awhile. Ben found out that the Sportsmens Warehouse in West Bend was going out of business, so we of course had to check that out (thanks Michelle for the directions!). Sunday we went to church and then had Bible study which was really fun! Matt and Julie brought Papa Murphy's which was soooo yummy! Now it is Monday morning and a busy week is ahead, as usual. Today we are going to see my sister for awhile and then home for the evening. Tomorrow I have a dentist appt, Oh dear... so the schedule goes on and on. I am working with Wy to learn colors and shapes. Adalai is doing Ok, getting her first tooth (it popped through yesterday afternoon!) but she still has quite a cough. She is on her last day of antibiotics from her ear ache, but she is still tugging on it and itching it... So we may end up at the doc for her sometime this week again! I wish that it was time for spring already. I am sick of the freezing cold. It is always good for us to get outside to play and that hasn't happened for quite a long time. Anyhow, it is just supposed to get colder through the week... boooooo I am bummed about that!
Well off to play and do the dishes... peace
