Dentist and other stuff...

I went to the dentist for the first time in a really really long time today and took my toddler with. He was soooo cute, he sat on my lap facing me and watched the hyginist very carefully clean my teeth... And this is one of the first times that I have walked away with just one cavity... I have really sore gums but other then that, it was a good check up, which is shocking! Which actually reminds me of what I wrote a couple posts ago, about how I want to stop drinking so much coke, so for now, I am on that mission again... It doesn't take me a long time to go back to wanting to drink that, but I need to just treat it like a dessert and have it as infrequently as I can.
Still trying to figure what else I need to do before London. I am going to buy some Crocs and I need some shirts and whatnot, but other then that I have my skirts which is essential for my trip, so I am in pretty good shape. As far as my letters... ah I am leaving it to the Lord. Anyhow, my sister and I went to Macy's yesterday and got "free facials" at Clinique and that was really really fun. I kind of hate going to those things though and not buying anything. I love their product, but man oh man... they are expensive. Worth it though I guess... Today we are going to go work at the rummage that we are having at church and then we are going to my father in laws for dinner and I can't wait to see him and his wife! I feel like we don't really get to spend much time with either of our parents. Our weekends are always really busy, but I miss out hanging out with my in laws and parents. Ben's dad is actually going on a bike trip to I think it is South Dakota, so we want to see him before he leaves for two weeks. Then tomorrow we have church and Ben is picking up missionaries from the airport and then meeting us at church... and then Sunday brunch with friends and then a class on Islam from 6-8pm. Holy cows!!! I am bummed because there is an open house thing for Hartland Market, a new organic place in Hartland. I really want to go, of course it overlaps with our schedule, but I guess they are talking about opening a Farmers Market down the street from us in the near future! YES! That will really improve the whole "going green" thing!
Gotta get going now... Peace~!

Pic of the wedding

This is the pic we got from the bride of us at the wedding... It was so nice! What a blast!

In other news... I sent out 19 more letters today, Please Lord bless them!

Tomorrow we (the kids and I) are setting out early in the morning for our rummage sale for church and we are working there from 9am until 6pm with a lovely brake in the middle to go with my sister to Clinique and get a free facial! Wahoo I have never had a facial before and let me tell you, sounds quite nice!
Then we have dinner with friends, and a little Bible study... busy but exciting day!
Anyhow, I will post more later, I have to get the kids in the bath and I have a date with my husband to watch Pirates of the Carribean 2 tonight. Peace and Blessings!

My Family By Dad

Well last night sara and I went to a wedding, it was quite fun and we got to dance to one of are favorite songs. But I relized standing in the back with my beutiful wife how much I missed are children. As the music got more fun and the oldies started crankin out I pictured my son laughin and jumpin doin the twist. I wished for the chance to dance with my daughter sleeping in my arms. God has blessed us with are children, how far am I willing to go to bless him back?
We didnt get a chance to eat at the reception due to seating which was good for me becouse I took the woman of my heart to pizza hut were we enjoyed are wings. I began thinking about the fact that are friends(that were now married) had a house already and two other friends of ares had just bought houses. I started feeling misty inside thinking I have not provided these things for my wife. I know her dreams as a girl were probably were to marry and have chillins and a house with a wrap around porch and yet every day somebody (including myself) pushes her down. She is a gift fragile, graceful and sweet. She has given up those dreams for a sputz like me. Believing that God is simply there for us. I envy her strength and endurance. There is Christ in the face of my family not led by me but by Gods thundering velvet hand(dan fogelberg). Praise God.
