www.youravon.com/sgedde ~Fall clean out begins!

My poor husband has been working like crazy, and decided to take some (about 10 hours) for today, so the kids and I are heading to Nixon park, since the other kids that live in our building aren't around and we don't have the broken Jeep! Nothing too much going on... Working really hard to improve my business with Avon... So, I opened a new website that you could check out ;)

Anyhow, the kids are doing great. Adalai is 18 months now, and Wyatt is working on potty training. We also have started a workbook for him. He is super smart, and understands the directions that I read to him, and we do counting and coloring activities. It is really fun to be able to really help in his understanding, and learning. I enjoy it so much! Tomorrow we are going to my Mom's for another birthday party for Wyatt. We haven't actually had a b-day party with our family since we were in PA for his birthday. Adam and Kel move this weekend, so I wish we could blink and go to PA to help them! I have cleaning to do around this place as always, so have been keeping busy with getting situated since our trip. I have been wanting to do the spring-cleaning-in-the-fall type thing... I need to get rid of the clutter! Any ideas on how to go about doing that? OH my gosh most people are probably thinking to themselves, well get rid of the junk! Well yeah easier said then done! We are always really clean, just have too many things, we both think~ So the fall clean out begins!

Happy Birthday Kira!

Happy Birthday, dear sister.

You have always been one of my best friends, someone I can always count on! I am so thankful to be able to share in her birthday celebration tonight...

Happy 22nd birthday, Kira~!

We love you!

Psalms--All done!

Well I made myself a little challenge to be done with the whole book of psalms by today... and I completed my little task~ Yay!
I really loved the book of psalms and how the psalmists always ended up praising God... Some of my recent favorites are Psalm 121, and Psalm 139.

Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Thought I would share that with you on this beautiful day!

Vacation

Our vacation was wonderful. We had a lovely trip to visit Michael, Elizabeth, and Christopher, and it was wonderful to be greeted with such excitement and hugs!~ We had birthday cupcakes for Wyatt and had a lovely dinner to catch up... The next morning we rushed off to finish the rest of our trip. Only had one instance of Wyatt not feeling well. We took the opportunity to pull off the freeway and visit a Harley Davidson store ;) We got to Adam and Kelly's, and it was like we had never left each other! It has been 6 months since we saw our best friends and we were right back into the swing of things! :) Their apartment is super cute, and we were able to just hang out together and eat and laugh... joke and enjoy... Such an amazing blessing from God that we could be reunited with Adam and Kelly, and the other family that we have in PA! ;) We enjoyed seeing Nichole, Chris, and the girls, and Ron, Donna, and Andy. So amazing. We got to eat Thai with them too! Yay. Kelly had off while the boys were in school, so we got lots of time to spend talking and reading together and fellowshipping with each other. We shopped together and visited a couple of malls, baked just a bit and just enjoyed each others company. The class was really good for the guys too... So all around it was an amazing time that won't be forgotten. We had some issues getting home (flooding in Chi-town... thanks Becky for getting us outta that mess ;)) but are home now, and getting cleaned up around this place! We came home with some extras since it was Wyatt's birthday and we had about 3 parties while we were away! So, now we are working to unpack and enjoy. This week is going to be busy, but trying to remember the peace I felt while away and dwell on that....
