I am so excited because we decided that we could go to Ohio to visit our pals Michael and Elizabeth. I can't wait to see them! Today was actually a lot less stressful then I anticipated. Had a great meeting with JoAnn. LOVE my time with her everytime. She is so wonderful. So helpful in every way and so encouraging. I shared my stress and anxiety issues with her, and she made some really wise recommendations. One of which she really stressed was focused exercise. I discussed with her my desire to get a YMCA membership this winter because I get the winter blues every year. It is something that sounds exciting to me, that I could perhaps take a yoga class, or whatever while the chillins play in the nursery and stuff... otherwise they provide jogging strollers, so I could run on the track, and swim with the kids. I would LOVE that, and frankly, even though it is super expensive for the membership for the family, it would still probably be what it would cost me for perscription meds for my super anxiety! I am so blessed by her suggestion, and the way she talked to me. She is so wonderful. Then my pal Becky came upstairs and totally blessed me by buying Pizza Hut (WINGS!!!) and watching the kids while I took little Grams home. She really blessed me too by helping with the kids for awhile... it was really nice. Doms came by this morning to visit quick and say goodbye... so much fun to see all the special people in my life today... Didn't get to see my sis though :( Anyhow, I am so thankful that packing didn't end up being the atrocity that I anticipated, and that I could get some other work done in the process!
Tina decided today that she wants to sell Avon...
JoAnn suggested to me to get all of my Avon catalogs out to people that live in the buildings around me... great suggestion! I had like a ton that I handed out to all the people that live here, and next door... yay! (so if you live around me, you were probably greeted with a Mark catalog. Love it!). Anyhow, want to get going with a bigger customer base for my Avon. I love this business seriously.
The kids are feeling better. Sorry to my friends around here that caught their cold! :( Don't worry it will probably happen to me that I will get it while traveling! I am going to pray that doesn't happen!
The kids and I are all tired tonight, and I am excited for my finishing off of Adi's blankey. Almost done! YAY! Wyatt picked out the green that he wants his blankey to be, so probably will be starting that somewhere along our trip tomorrow... I am alos praying that max handles that boarding well... We have Sherry/Beck as a back up just in case Thanks so much guys~!
Peace

Going to PA~!
We are kind of unprepared for this trip at the moment, but I am confident that the Lord will work with us to work it all out! We found out yesterday afternoon that Ben will be able to complete his class, so we are making the trip east! I am so excited to see our family that lives there! We are going to be away for one week and celebrate Wyatt's third birthday while away. We are going to take the potty chair there, because we need to work on potty training regardless of if we are on the go or not. We seem to always be on the run and I don't want that to hinder his progress. I am working on a few projects while away. Almost finished knitting Adi's blankey, and then making a green one for Wyatt. I love these projects, keep me busy. And I am also going to read "Gorgeously Green" and "Diaper free Before 3" at the same time. I am actually going to kind of skim them I think, but try and read anyhow. So, today we have a few errands to run, one of which is to thoroughly clean our Jeep so we have a nice comfortable and clean 14 hour ride to PA. We may end up seeing Michael and Elizabeth at the same time, because they are going to PA for a wedding this week, I am pretty sure. Anyhow, excited but anxious. Please pray for safe travel for us. And that the kids don't wig out on our long trip in the car! Also it would be helpful if gas prices don't rise before we come home (if at all for that matter!). We are still trying to decide what time to actually venture out, because we are boarding Max at a boarding facility while we are away and need to coordinate dropping him off and whatnot. We are working on getting his shots updated this afternoon along with running crazy errands, so needless to say, I have had an extra cup of coffee this morning to help! ;)
Have a good rest of the week! Not sure how much I will be able to be online to blog, but still will be trying to take some time outs to rest, so we'll see!
Peace

Weekend
This is the last weekend before we leave for our week away in Pennsylvania, and since next week is a short week being Labor Day and all, I am trying to get through the cleaning and stuff... Now the only thing is maintaining it through the week! I just don't want to come home from our trip away and need to walk into a mess, so we are working on it! Wyatt helped me with cleaning up the bathroom and we will work on the kitchen next but in the meantime we are taking a break to go outside and play! I am excited because Wyatt made it from the time he woke up at about 7am, until about now 9:30am w/o having any accidents... He has been in his Diego undies all morning. Yay~ I am going to re-read "Diaper Free before 3" while we are away to refresh my memory on all the ins and outs of potty training. He still says "Mommy I don't wanna ride the potty train" but he is actually! He does really well. I am so proud! He turns three a week from Monday... I can't believe it! So, we need to get him potty trained now...
Anyhow, hope you have a wonderful weekend and a nice Labor Day!

Feels like Fall!
We have been home quite a bit lately. We are working on planning and finalizing plans for our trip to Pennsylvania! Ben is taking a core course at Messiah college, and I am excited to be able to go on the ride and stay with our best friends! We are working on finding someone to watch Max, but I think we are leaning toward paying for him to be boarded while we are away. That way we can be sure that he is not causing a ruckous! We have continued to enjoy the rest of the summer (although it has been getting a bit chillier outside these days!) hanging out with our friendly neighbors. We all walked to the park last night after a yummmy supper with Becky (there were about 10 of us or so!), and it is fun to have an outting as a group instead of be lazy in our back yard! I am going to try for the rest of the summer and into the fall, work on getting in exercise outside as often as I can, and not just plunk in a comfy chair outside while the kids play. I have been knitting and reading while outside, so it isn't like I am completely unproductive, but I felt convicted last night when I came in, that I am being kind of selfish to just let the kids play and barely participate in the fun and the exercise that could potentially come in stride with just hanging out and playing with my own sweet adorable children. Tonight we have another outting with our friend downstairs (Becky) we are going to Pewaukee beach to see her favorite group play (they are called the Pink Flamingos, and apparently they are a great cover band!). I am so excited for that, because we haven't been to Pewaukee beach basically since the Journey stopped holding services there. The kids will totally dig it, and probably get super messy. The only thing that I would like to do while there is to stop at the Chocolate Factory and have a malt! ;) Anyhow, I am just finishing 1 Corinthians in my reading and hope to be done with 2 Corinthians by the weekend. That would be really nice because I need to get through a chunk of reading by my next mentor meeting. Make JoAnn proud! ;)

Pukey
Yesterday Wyatt wanted to paint. So, I set both kids up with some artsy stuff before I hopped in the shower. Anyhow, got out of the shower to discover that poor little Wy had thrown up. Hmmm no warning at all (I was gone for about 5 min)... SSOOOO Weird! So, I have decided to throw away his sippy cups (they never seem to get clean enough), and hope that it was just like a lactose intolerance thing. He was totally fine the rest of the day. I guess I am not used to the fact that sometimes a kid will just spontaneously throw up? Not sure if that is even right... Anyhow, SO weird. I was thrown by it all day actually because there is a certain anticipation that you feel once your kids has been sick that every time he says "Mommy..." you get a little scared! Anyhow, thankfully we laid down together for a nap and he is fine today. Thank God! Yay!
Today we are off to Oconomowoc, to go to the yarn store, (I am starting a baby blankey from a book called Stitch N B*&%$--sorry it is seriously the name! But the book is awesome!) and then to Walmart, and Pick N Save... Ben is working over time, because he was lucky enough to get off some time on Wednesday because their machine was down. So, he is makin up time this afternoon. I think we are going to try and grill outside with our neighbors if the weather cooperates!
Anyhow, have a great weekend!

Wedding success!!!
The wedding was fantastic. We had a blast! As far as I know, everything went according to plan and the bride was happy and that was what mattered! The kids held up really well and we ended up being able to stay at the reception until about midnight on Saturday night. SO much fun! The food was awesome, and I can't wait to see the photos!
It was so nice to be able to meet the inlaw side of the family that I had pretty much met at my wedding, but ended up being a "nice to meet you thank you for coming, peace out" type situation. My favorite Aunt was there (on Ben's side of aunts that is ;)) and that was a real blessing!
Anyhow, we are busy busy this week and the school year is fast approaching which is really really weird! I am actually bummed about it a little bit, because it is fun to play in the backyard with the other kids in our building and have Wyatt be so excited when he is allowed to go over and play at Brandi and Brandon's house! ;) He is growing up quick and next thing I know, he'll be in school too! Oh my gosh I have to enjoy the time I have. I am just kind of back to the mindset of hmmmmm what do we do all day!?!! Especially when it starts to get cold out and we can't play at the park. Hmmm the YMCA membership is starting to sound better and better for the winter!
A friend of mine turned me on to a book called the Stitch N Bitch (pardon)... so I am reading through that book and about to start a project for our trip to Pennsylvania. I am sooo excited because if we have time have time (Kel and I at least) I would like to show Kelly how to knit. She has been asking me since she lived around here to teach her. At some point I remember that she was working on a project of some sort (maybe crotchet?) but nevertheless, it would give us the perfect opportunity if I am already in the middle of a project! The book is hilarious btw... Love it! Anyhow, I am looking forward to that, because there is something very very therapeutic about knitting. You might not believe me, but I am super serious. I would like to be able to knit a hat and mittens for each of us for the winter as well... but that may be a bit advanced for me being a beginner. We'll see how the blankey goes!
Other than that, I am working on getting back into the swing of my Bible reading in the morning and prayerful journaling. I have been extremely distracted lately and haven't spent much time in the word. So so sad to say it, but I am really sorry for it and need to get back into the habit! Kelly said that when I come to PA, that she and I can work on reading and discussing a chapter a day. I love that girl so much for helping me with stuff like this! I MISS HER so much! And probably more and more when we go visit there... Anyhow the kids and I are off to the grocery store this morning and then to Grams later... YAY~
Oh update on Grams... had her last round of treatment last week and is feeling quite well... next step is an operation. Please pray for healing. Please also pray for my sister... she is having a hard go of things lately...
Thanks peops!
Peace
