Better today!

Wyatt is doing a million times better this morning. I am so thankful because they both slept well through the night. Today we have a few errands to run, but since it is a beautiful morning, I am thinking of heading out for a walk. Max, our dog is about 65 lbs overweight, and since I have been feeling a bit shlumpy lately, I am thinking that making a morning or evening walk part of our routine is just the ticket. Beck, the kids and I headed to the library last night, eventhough Wyatt was still kind of sick (was kinda scared cuz it was dark out!) and it was such a beautiful night. The tiny time of fresh air helped me to sleep well, and really calms my nerves, so woohooo! I love the fall to take walks in sweaters and jeans! I need to get some shoes for winter though because last year, I ruined my Nike's in the snow! Anyhow, fall is my favorite for taking walks, picking pumpkins/apples, knitting and reading... I love snuggling up in the evening after a day of hard work ;) and reading or watching a movie, so eventhough I have reluctance, I still am working hard to welcome fall/winter w/ open arms!

Worry :(

This morning at 6am, Wy woke up and came to get me because he was sick... he threw up a couple times and felt better... It seems that he all together too often gets sick like this, and I am really worried about him. I have talked to the doctor about this a few times, and he seems to think that it is because Wyatt gets so backed up... Well I am not sure, I think that he feels sick too often. Ugh what to do.... I have now given him some emetrol (anti-nausea) and he is doing a bit better. Has more color in his face, but is still swallowing hard and won't eat...

Stress :(

Man I am stressed lately. So weird, because I had a really good spurt there, where we were busy and although there were times when I felt really anxious, it wasn't anything compared to the last few days... Can you please pray for me? Just to lean on the Lord when this time happens..
Thanks peops

Camping 10/05/08

We had a great time camping last weekend! We stayed at a nice place called Wyalusing park in Prarie Du Chien, and it turned out really well! We stayed with George and JoAnn, and had a fun time hanging out with family! We didn't have too many campfires, mainly used our wood burning stove inside the tent to heat the place, and cook yummy soup! The kids enjoyed their time, but for the most part of the trip Adalai was sick with a fever. The pic above is her in her chair that she layed in for most of the day Sunday (between time in Mommy and Grandma's lap!) bundled up! The nights were cold, but we stayed toasty by the stove. It was really nice! We were a bit late to catch our annual apple orchard stop, so that means we'll have to make carmel apples at home! We had a nice supper with Geo & J before heading back home, and got home late last night. Today we have spent time catching up on shopping and chores!

Grams update

Although I haven't actually seen her yet, I have heard that "Doms" (which is what my kids call her) is doing really great. I am so thankful! I am so blessed because the Lord is good in helping her to heal so well... I can't wait to see her!

We are getting prepared today to go camping with George and JoAnn (and maybe my bro-I-L/fam) for the weekend. I am kind of excited, but nervous at the same time, as it has been increasingly cold outside and the kids have never camped before. I have actually not camped for a few years either! My husband and his dad have a woodburning stove in the tent that we are going to be sleeping in, just not sure how comfortable it will be for the kids and I. I am sure we'll do fine, and I can't wait to go to the apple festival that we are going to hit up on the way home. Yay for yummy apples! I am going to try and snatch up a bushel to make some treats for us... My friend Katie gave me a good idea last night, she was making apple butter and butternut squash soup... mmmm sounds great!

Psalm 127 v.3-5 and Mathew 19 v. 4-6 !!!

Pennsylvania--a couple pics!

I have been wanting to post pictures, but have forgotten until now... The one of Wyatt is on a turtle is at one of the malls that we visited while we were in PA... Adalai decided to crawl up into Kelly's comfy chair and snuggle up and go to sleep! She is so funny!
Anyhow, I wish we could go back there to visit this week. Ugh... This week is going to be hard... Grams is having her surgery in a couple of hours. They aren't sure how well the chemo/radiation secluded the tumor that they are removing, so they aren't able to even really tell her what to expect as an outcome to her operation. Please pray with me today as Grams goes in. I am exhausted cuz of the weather, which doesn't help things, but we are heading out to Waukesha right now to have both of the kids check ups. I am actually really excited because I want to get suggestions from our new pediatrician on Wyatt's eating habits (or lack there of!) and have some questions answered on sleep/potty training. Anyhow, it is good for me to have this appointment scheduled for this morning in particular!
