Well there have been some HUGELY awesome things that have happened this week! Nora Kathryn was born on April 30th to our good friends... Congrats guys, wish I was by you to give her a kiss! Oh yeah, by the by, Girls are a trip~! ;) And our Adalai is now taking short hands-free walking trips around the house, so that is super exciting! Kir is waiting to hear from an apartment that she applied to tonight... and I am really hoping she gets it! Sounds great!~
Some sucky things have also happened this week... Wyatt spraying water at the television, and totally busting it... (well only for about 15 hours- it is fine now, but man was a upset!) Terrible twos, Adalai pulled my knitting needles out my huge blanket that I was making for HER... not too sure if I am going to be able to fix it, so I will start it again, whilst grinding my teeth. TERRIBLE TWO'S. I have wierd friends at the moment, which isn't great... Terrible twos. My husband is sick like sick sick (Ben never gets it like mildly sick, always seriously sick!), and daughter has a fever and is teething.
Anyhow, even though the sucky list outweighs the great list, I am trying to stay focused on the positive... Lord, please continue to help me, in patience, and being my usual-seeing life with the glass half full attitude, Amen!

Trip to Auntie Emmy's in Peoria, Ill.
We had a blast staying at my sister in laws really nice apartment. The storms on our way were insane, but we made it there, and had a great time just spending time with Em. Today has been kind of a lay low day because of our business the last couple weeks, so Wyatt has watched a couple of movies, and we ran fishing with Ben this morning before work, and then had a family nap! YAY~
We went to this great pizza place in Peoria. It was soooo yummy! We had to wait a bit to get in, but I am sure that the people appreciated my little girl, she kept people busy! She would not sit still! It was SO good. We got WAY too much food, and enjoyed every part of it... like 4 appetizers, and the pizza... WOAH sooo yummmyyyyy! Anyhow, just thought i would post some of the pictures from the pizza place... too bad I didn't get more! What a bummer!
Oh well, peace to you this week!

Yay for "going green"... the Eco-diaper
YAY for eco diapers...
I am going to do my best to buy these, because they are better for the environment, just as cheap as Pampers or Huggies, and you get as many in the pack! I am not sure, but considering doing cloth diapers for awhile, since I have started doing laundry at home, and already do it a couple times a week, wouldn't mind washing cloth diapers along with my normal laundry, that is a TOTAL maybe though, need to look into it, but it is cool to do the eco diapers if I am going to use disposables!

PRAISE GOD!
I posted last about our friend Dave, and Ben just came home from the appointment that he went to to meet the neurologist. He is our friends brother, which is such a comfort! Also, they have discovered that the tumor is not on his brain stem, which is where they originally thought it was, it is actually just inside of his ear! PRAISE GOD! Please continue to pray for him, as his surgery is on May 15th... and includes an obviously long recovery...
Praise the Lord~ So amazing!
Peace

Our Friend Dave
We got some really terrible news this afternoon. Ben's childhood best friend Dave, just learned that he has a brain tumor. He asked to be put on our prayer chain, but I wanted to post here, so please please pray for him. He has a daughter named Grace who is about 10 months, and a fiancee... We don't know too many details except that they are planning to operate (not sure when) and when they do, he it will require that he spend one day in the ICU, and one week as an inpatient at the hospital, and then 8 weeks of at home recovery. Please pray for their finances also at this time because he and Danielle both work. Anyhow, I just wanted to post this so you could pray along with us for healing and salvation for our good friend.
Peace

The kids having fun!
Just wanted to post a pic of each child, doing what they love the most. Adalai LOVES her baby, she will hug her, pat her and kiss her, it is the sweetest thing, and she loves to rock her in the rocking chair! And the one of Wyatt is at Dori's while Adam and Kel were here and he took out all of the cars that she had and lined them up in a row! SO SWEET!

Weekend fun
Left for Christophers house after Ben got off work on Friday. It was a late ride, but nice as the children slept, and Ben and I were able to just chat and enjoy some time to just catch up I guess you could say. We stayed in their trailer with then because they are doing a huge renovation project on their farm house. We had a great time catching up with our nephews and nieces! George is soooo cute and speaking so well, he just gets into everything! Wyatt loves to hang out with him and they went puddle jumping together in their gollashes on Saturday. SO cute, wish I could have gotten pictures! Ben and Christopher worked together to help two of his cows give births to calfs. They are super cute! So, they didn't get as much done on the house as they had set out to complete, but had a good time nonetheless! On Sunday, Wyatt woke up and was sick... Threw up actually, which is so wierd and caught me completely off guard. Not sure what that was about because later that afternoon he was running around outside like crazy! I was so thankful that it was just a short time of being sick. Poor guy. His uncle took good care to send us home well equipped with meds and a bucket just in case ;) Anyhow, it was a pretty nice ride home. The kids were worn out so we had a quiet nice ride and stopped for some yummy lunch. Worked out good too that we were able to head home a bit early because we got to cook out on the grill last night! So yummy, we made corn and brats... mmmmm Today was super gorgeous outside, so we ran to a trout fishing stream in Palmyra and I took the kids for a really nice walk and we hung out there for the afternoon. I got put on my heart monitor this morning and have to wear it until 11:15am on Wednesday morning... So that is kind of stinky, but my prayer is that if the Lord wants us to discover what I was feeling that it will just show up on this continuous EKG that I have going on. I think that I am stressed about it though because I have felt some heaviness in my chest today. Hopefully that can be detected too!
This week isn't so busy for us which is nice. We are going to try and sneak to the park tomorrow, but it is supposed to be rainy. I have still been doing a lot of spring cleaning and weeding through things. It is really helping me to declutter... woohooO!
Kids are heading to bed super early tonight (like an hour early for Wyatt) because they have been crabby all afternoon from not having a nap. Ada has quite a head cold, so she has been feeling stinky lately... So, bedtime in about 15 minutes! I rented some movies because I have decided to really look at the type of TV I was watching for awhile, and change some choices of television that I was feeling conviction over... So, tonight I am going to watch movies instead of reality shows (and that is what I am going to do all the time now instead of reality shows ;))
Have a great week!
