Busy day today!

We have a busy day for today... So tired already even thinking about it. I am going to the Michael W Smith concert tomorrow with Emily, so I gotta make sure that we have everything we need for the weekend and next week before we head to Illinois tomorrow!
I am going grocery shopping and general shopping, and then have an extra few errands to run also!
WOW...
Anyhow, Avon comes today and I am so excited to get my Bond Girl perfume!
Need anything on my next order?
Have a great weekend!

10/23/08

We had a really nice day today... I am surprised it is almost the end of it actually. We had a nice morning. Visited Grams work and found some really great treasures to bring home with us. I always like to take a donation in to Grams work and then feel not so bad to take some fun things home. Today I got a Mr. Coffee maker... so thankful! Anyhow, the rest of the day we spent cleaning up and hanging around the apartment. The kids napped and then Ben and I were able to take a rest too... we are watching the Planet Earth series right now so we were able to relax and spend some time just chillin. I am working on finishing the blankey I am making Wyatt to work on some scarves for the Love Scarf Project. So, if you are a knitter, or a crocheter in fact, get our your needles and get mooovin! I can get you info if you are serious about making scarves/hats/mittens for this cause, please let me know and I will direct you!
Today has been a wonderful day because we were able to spend time at Grams. I am just astounded at what a miracle God has done in her. She looks and acts the same as always! She is doing really well. I am so thankful!
Adi has been fussing lately a lot because she wants her pacifier. Oh my gosh she knows which cabinet I keep them in and Ben and Becky particularly are really good at getting them away from her, but she bugs and fusses at me all night. What do I do? Oh my gosh it is terrible. She is crying and freaking out... what would you do?
Anyhow, other then fuss buster here, we are doing great!
Looking forward to shopping tomorrow with little Grams, and getting my Avon order! It is like Christmas every other week when my order comes. I love it! Most of the time I don't really get to keep anything, but I get to play "santa" and hand stuff out to people... LOVE my job first as a mother and wife, and also as an Avon rep! ;)

I got my Sunglasses...

This is my silly boy, and he is yes... wearing Dora sunglasses.
He was lovin his pancakes yesterday morning! Anyhow... Nothing much else today, oooh had my first experiance with Buffalo Wild Wings! So good!

Kitchen!

The pictures really don't do justice to how great my Mother in Law helped to make my kitchen look. We painted the wall a chocolately milk color, and it is super cute. Changed the whole thing!
I have been working hard to keep it nice and clean (oh snap, don't go out there right now and look ;)) Anyhow, promised that I would post pics, so here you go, Kel! ;)

Maximus

This is our pooch Max. He has been part of our family since Ben and I were dating WAY back when... We aren't sure of his age, but think he is like probably 11 or so. When our daughter was born about 18 months ago, we decided that our two bedroom apartment was a bit too small for our family of four, and our two dogs. (we used to own a dog named Jack who is Max's son). So, we decided it would be best for us to adopt out our dogs. It was a terribly hard decision for us to make. The lady that helped Ben out at HAWS said she would keep up with us to let us know how the process was going w/ finding them placement. Thankfully after just about two weeks or something like that, they found a home for our puppy, Jack. We were so thankful! Anyhow, Max was said to be having some trouble with the trainers. After awhile, they were talking about the possibility of putting Max down if he continued to not cooperate with their trainers. So, we had to decide what to do. He has always been a semi well behaved dog. He really grew attached to our family, and was really good with Wyatt. Always had trouble with being left alone at home though. Anyhow, after quite a bit of deliberating, we took him back (ugh and had to pay something like $80 for boarding fees, and for fixing him). We were so happy to have him home, but over the winter months he packed on weight, since with the two kids it was really difficult for us to get him outside for walks and such. He is now up to about 59 lbs overweight. Oh my gosh is double (if not more) then what he should weigh. Lately he had had issues with his being so overweight. So, Ben and I have decided to kick it into action with getting him well. The vet said that it is dramatically taking years off his life, and since he is part of our family, we have to do what we can to help him get well. I am working on taking him for about a 25 minute walk, and then Ben has been running him during the night too. We are trying to work on him eating less. And snacking on carrots (hee heee hee it is so funny to think of him snacking on carrots!)... I always used to feel like Max was a burden... since I was already trying to deal with our kids and stuff, but he has become my good friend over the years, and I have to do what is in my reach to help him be healthy and well, so he can live life to it's fullest. It is all in our hands now!

Better today!

Wyatt is doing a million times better this morning. I am so thankful because they both slept well through the night. Today we have a few errands to run, but since it is a beautiful morning, I am thinking of heading out for a walk. Max, our dog is about 65 lbs overweight, and since I have been feeling a bit shlumpy lately, I am thinking that making a morning or evening walk part of our routine is just the ticket. Beck, the kids and I headed to the library last night, eventhough Wyatt was still kind of sick (was kinda scared cuz it was dark out!) and it was such a beautiful night. The tiny time of fresh air helped me to sleep well, and really calms my nerves, so woohooo! I love the fall to take walks in sweaters and jeans! I need to get some shoes for winter though because last year, I ruined my Nike's in the snow! Anyhow, fall is my favorite for taking walks, picking pumpkins/apples, knitting and reading... I love snuggling up in the evening after a day of hard work ;) and reading or watching a movie, so eventhough I have reluctance, I still am working hard to welcome fall/winter w/ open arms!

Worry :(

This morning at 6am, Wy woke up and came to get me because he was sick... he threw up a couple times and felt better... It seems that he all together too often gets sick like this, and I am really worried about him. I have talked to the doctor about this a few times, and he seems to think that it is because Wyatt gets so backed up... Well I am not sure, I think that he feels sick too often. Ugh what to do.... I have now given him some emetrol (anti-nausea) and he is doing a bit better. Has more color in his face, but is still swallowing hard and won't eat...
