Have you ever truly wanted to say something to someone, but know that what you say will inevitably be taken the wrong way? Or the person will take offense when you are just saying something out of love for that person?
Just pondering that today....
Lately I have been spending evenings in our back yard, with our neighbors, and it makes for such a great time. I used to get so anxious about spending time at home with the kids. Worrying that I am not being productive enough, or working enough with teaching them stuff they should be taught. We have a few kids that live in our building now, and it is such an excitement to me to have kids come knock on our door to ask if Wyatt can play. We are not comfortable with it yet, to let him be outside with them by himself, although that comfort is getting a bit better because the one boy is about 12. Anyhow, it is such a relief to have the evening with friends who live in the same place, and somewhat share the same type of sense of humor and wanting to have fun. The neighbors on our floor to the right actually bought a kiddie pool at the beginning of summer, which has gotten such good use since they did. We lately have taken turns filling it up and getting it ready. It is so fun to just hang around with other adults (some of which have small children also) and have adult time while the kids play. Today I started doing flashcards with Wyatt. Making a good effort now also to spend time playing quietly along with the kids. I have discovered that I actually really appreciate when the music/tv is off for an hour or so so we can just play and chat and get to know each other more each day. I am really going to miss too, when it gets cold, and we can't congregate in our comfortable back yard anymore. Becky, the neighbor that lives directly below us, has been getting to know us overtime for the 5 years that she has lived here. Lately, we have been spending more and more time together and have discovered that there are quite a few things that we have in common. She actually took me to Mayfair with her last weekend so I could have a break for a bit after the kids and Ben had just been sick. We ended up taking quite a long time, compared to what we had initially though we were going to, and it was such a blast! We found this little store w/ in Macy's called Lush where we both bought some natural soaps. It was so cool. We also ventured into Bath and Body Works and had a Starbucks. So much fun. Anyhow, she has blessed us with supper the last two nights. She is single and doesn't want to waste so she invited us to eat taco's with her tonight, and last night had enough brats and hamburgers to share, Oh and the yummiest grilled corn on the cob. It isn't that we didn't have food, she just insisted, and blessed my socks off. So, the summer has been really great so far, because I can say that I have never really enjoyed just spending time being around our apartment building. It is getting to be the kind of atmosphere where everyone just gets home from their day jobs and then spends the evening together. Super cool.

My Sigg! And Tea Tree Toner
In lieu of receiving our long awaited IRS check... I got to splurge a tiny bit and buy some long awaited little trinkets for myself..
I follow a blog that I have mentioned before...I read on this blog that the Kiehls Tea Tree Oil Toner is awesome for people dealing with adult acne... When I met with the dermatologist, she suggested that I try a couple of things that she would prescribe. So I went to our lovely Walgreens and found that the stuff she would prescribe for me would end up costing me $80. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard of this miraculous toner that would only cost about $16 plus shipping! Lets hope it works!
The other awesome thing that I was able to get, is the Sigg Bottle. Which in my attempt to go green, is the perfect bottle. If you have followed by blog for a bit, I am sure you will remember this post. Ahh yes the water bottle soapbox. I am actually going to reread my water bottle soapbox, because I would like to feel as must gusto about the whole plastic thing as I used to. I can just imagine my best bud there in Harrisburg, PA sippin water from her HUGE glass jar that she is now using instead of plastic bottles. YOU GO KEL! Anyhow, I am striving to go green... And am Stoaked (sorry for the pun Stoak's) to get a good head start by using this Sigg bottle. Go get one... they rock. Oh and since I just spend $20 bucks on an aluminum water bottle, I VOW to use the darn thing and ACTUALLY drink water from it, on a daily basis! ;)
Peace out dudes.

1 is over it... 2 to go
The tummy troubles have seemed to completely gone away from Wyatt, and have now taken up residence in my poor husband and daughter. Adalai is doing fine for the most part. Wants to cuddle a bunch, but unfortunately I have been trying to grocery shop and bleach this joint so that hasn't been so great. I feel bad for her sometimes because that is how she likes to be comforted... to just sit with her...Ugh and I am pulled in a ton of directions. Anyhow, they will give me more detail (hopefully) tomorrow as to if it was what they suspected... the crypto. My DH handed me a spoon today after slurping down jello... I was doing the dishes... He says, "This one has crypto on it"... Oh my gosh poor guy~!
He is at work for the time being, but coming home in a little while. The kids neighbor friends weren't around tonight which ended up being somewhat beneficial because they weren't really wanting to play outside in the heat and so now we are laying low for the rest of the night. Watching movies, reading books, and playing with toys. To say the truth, we actually haven't had many days like that lately... We have been busy hanging out with the neighbors as well as taking on our normal busy-ness, so we haven't had much down time...

Ahhhh Spaaaa
Since my friend K is back home for awhile... we got invited to our friends spa to enjoy a day of pampering. Oh my gosh it was amazing! My son is really sick though... has been since Sunday. He may have gotten crypto, actually which is really scary. So, I got to part-take in the full body massage (for 75 minutes... OMG) and also a pedicure full with the wax foot stuff... so awesome. I am so thankful for this day! My MIL was watching the kids and was SO incredibly gracious in doing so because of Wyatt saying "My belly hurts" every few minutes... Ben was home too, so I am so thankful to him for dealing with the poor kiddo, and also being honest and telling me I need to come home. It was a lovely day. As I said they are testing Wyatt for exposure to crypto... because he has had a really terrible belly. Poor kid. So blessed this evening to have him not be entirely lethargic, and also up and walking around. That is a very good sign! Tomorrow we get to have a playdate at Grams, which will be really great!

My hair cut ;)
When I tell people that I am cutting my hair now they say "You aren't going to like it, you never like it when you cut it short". Maybe it is because I tell people about it or something? I don't know what it is. This time I only told a few people, because I didn't want to hear the above quote, so this time I found a pic (of the Listerine Whitestrips girl, who incidently looks just like someone whose blog I follow, but she now has long hair). I took the pic to Eileen, who then laughed at me for bringing in a pic of the Listerine girl, not sure why. Anyhow, I like it, just thought I would post a pic here, so you could see ;)
I am on a mission now to go through our things and start weeding out what we don't need or could be sold to someone or whatever. I have had pretty good luck with selling some of our baby things online, made about $40 this week. Yay! Anyhow, it is kind of fun to clean out and make money doing it! Love it!
We are looking around at houses, so I am working to try and do the best I can on saving. We are going to a farmers market in Dousman today, and taking L Grams who has now gotten her much anticipated refund. Anyhow, she very badly wants to go to Kohls, so we are shopping today. Looks like a gorgeous day for it!
Well, just wanted to update. Oh, and do any of you out there do any direct sales type work? Re: Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Tupperware?
My sister sells Lia Sophia, and does pretty well with it. Just looking at my options with doing something like that to try and work on a size-able down payment. Please comment if you have any input w/ that.
Thanks!

Happy 4th of July!
We had a lovely fourth of July. It is my Mom's birthday today, but we celebrated on the 4th this year because she is going to Chicago. We had SO much food. I need to try and do better at resisting temptation to eat all day long when there are sweets in front of me. I talked to Kelly quick yesterday and she asked what we were doing on the fourth, I told her going to Mom's, and she said oh she always has such good food! Yep, my point exactly! Oh dear. Well I am going to have to take a walk with the kids and dog this morning before I get ready to party. We are going to Ben's cousins wedding reception (they were married in Florida last week). So, we're going to be seeing a lot of Ben's family, which is a lot of fun, and meeting some of my FIL's brother's who I haven't seen since our wedding. We are also going to spend some time with Michael and Elizabeth because they move this coming week and we wanted to have dinner together. It is going to be a really sad goodbye. We may actually see them in September though because we are going to Pennsylvania then. Anyhow, we are saying goodbye to another pastor tomorrow, which is going to be hard again. So, there is a big dinner after church for the pastor and his family. Anyhow, just a quick update, gotta get the kids breakfast going now...
Have a blessed weekend!

Boating and fishing...
Yep we are super busy people, but not busy enough to not have fishing and boating! My husband and his Dad just bought a boat together and we have been trying to make as much use of it as we can. We had a wonderful family day on Friday just out on the lake fishing. So much fun! Yesterday we got to go to the zoo with two families who are close friends of ours. It rained at first, but turned out to be gorgeous! Praise God for a lovely weekend!
