And the hits just keep on comin....

So I got a call today from Meredith at the head missions office, and she told me that because our teams plane tickets were booked together, that I can't come home early. I have to stay the whole trip! She said that if I feel like it is too much with the baby that I can take off, but I am not worried about needing to take off.. I am sure I can handle it... it is just that Wyatt... Ugh I am going to miss him so bad... And Benjamin. Anyhow, please pray for this to either be fixed, or for my anxiety level to be a little as possible while I am away. I am going to miss my boys so badly! Please also pray that it gets worked out that I can actually stay with K.
Well last night was the first night in the crib for Adalai and for Wy it was the first night of having his sister in his room. He doesn't like when she gets put in the crib because that is where he goes for time out... Anyhow they both did really well! It was great! Adi went into her bassinet after she woke up for her 130am feeding, but that's OK, we are slowly transitioning. Other than that, today we get to go to Grams house and then Watters for dinner, so it is going to be a good day I would think!
Just thought I would give ya'll the update
Peace and have a great day!

Passports are Done!!!

Praise God, I am so thankful to report that the passports are done! We finished them today finally after 3 times of visiting our wonderful USPS. It is so funny how things get so messed up sometimes. How when you feel like you are doing the right thing, and that it is lead by the Lord, that there are little things that just get in the way... So wierd to feel under attack sometimes, but then pray for peace, and feel it abundantly! Thank you Lord for that, because I am sooo not good at being peaceful myself! I just pray for the Lord to speak to peoples hearts when they recieve my letter asking for help.
Anyhoo, our friend Dave (he stood up in our wedding) and his fiancee Danielle had their baby yesterday afternoon. They had a baby girl and named her Grace Elizabeth she was 7lbs 11oz. Congrats guys!!!
Other than that, not too much going on. Super hot out today, but I think it would be a good night for a cookout~!

Bye Bye Coke... Well not for good....

We are doing the passports this afternoon... phewww... I am happy to have that finished. It is hot out today, but I hope to go down to the river to go fishing with my husband. We have been doing that lately, totally peaceful. Ben caught a trout last night and was really excited! Wyatt likes the ducks and Ada likes her rides in the stroller, the only thing that gets challenging for me is to walk up that big hill. I just did that on the way from the park. Well, I am going to make it a goal for myself to wean myself from Coke (Coca-cola that is...), I feel like it is a caffiene addiction, and I am not happy with that. I did really well during my pregnancy w/ Wy not drinking Coke, w/ Adi not so much, but I seriously don't need to keep drinking the caffiene. I am making it a goal to wean down to one a day... and then hopefully to one a week. So, try and hold me accountable K? I am trying to lose the baby weight still and that is hindering it as well. So, that is basically part of what is on my heart today... Pray that the passports go through and are actually to us by the time we leave!
Peace and blessings!

Random Thoughts

I am really thankful that this a long weekend. I am happy to have Benjamin around for 4 days. He took off on Thursday to help with moving and to say goodbye to A&K. We had a good time. The morning of Thursday started off rough when K and I would look at each other and cry. Ugh... Anyhow, they gave us a collage of photos of us and them, and it is really special to us. Ben said to Wyatt yesterday "Can you say Adam?" and he didn't try, but he got up off the couch and walked over to the pic and pointed to Adam. They made the trip back to PA in 15 hours and we got to talk to them when they got home. We spent the day helping pack on Thursday and then Adams dad took us out to Texas Roadhouse for our anniversary and as kind of a going away present... We ate such great food there, it is amazing and then spent a little more time with them before a tearful goodbye. I am certain though that they are enjoying being back in PA. We are going to visit them in August and I can't wait! So, that is what was keeping us from freaking out, is that in a couple months we will see them again and get to spend a week with them. Kel and I took Ada to her 2 month check up. She is doing wonderfully! She has a cold, but other then that, she is in the 50th percentile for her weight, and 75th for her height! Not too bad for a preemie!! That made me feel good though. We have been cleaning the last day or so and getting used to our new entertainment center along w/ all the other misc things that A&K left for us! We are going to church on the beach now, so I must go... Peace!

Family Night!!!

We had one of our last family night dinners last night. Dori came over and got to see some of the funny stuff that happens when we us and the Stoak's get together. It is quite humorous... at one point she said something like I-D-10-T-S.... I was like what is that???? She said... write it down!

So hilarious... she was totally kidding by the way, I don't think that Dori could actually ever call someone an idiot. She is so wonderful! Anyhow, we had a blast, cooked out... thanks Roger for the perfect chicken! Tomorrow is the sad day... I mean it will be fun, and probably part funny to put all their stuff in the moving truck, so sad though to say goodbye until August. Ugh! A's dad came in from PA about 35 min ago, and we can't wait to see him!!

IKEA Adventures!

Kira and I decided to go to IKEA yesterday. It was so fuN! That place is really amazing! We got SO incredibly lost on the way there. I think that if I ever can redo my living room or get a new couch or decorations or anything, I am totally going to shop there. It was really worth driving all the way to Schaumburg to check it out, THANKS KIR! We also got to stop at Steak and Shake. Oh my yummmy! It really really brightened up my day and it was a blast! We went to Bible Study too last night and Ben suprised me w/ a dozen roses for our anniversary! We plan to go on Friday to the new movie theater to see Pirates of the Carribean 3. I am really excited. Now all I need to find is a babysitter! We are going to the park today with Em and the kids, and I am excited because it is really gorgeous out! I guess we are having a cook out with the Stoaks tonight too... Only 2 days until they leave. Ugh, well Adam's dad flies in tomorrow night and I can't wait to see him!
Anyhow, I guess I am going to get ready now to go to the park.
Peace and have a blessed day!!

Last Weekend

We had our first church service at the beach this weekend. I think that it is going to do wonderful things for the Journey because we already have had two new people check us out, just because we were out there! So, wonderful! My son got totally soaked playing in the water. I should have been prepared, but wasn't, so we went out to dinner with him wearing a button up sweatshirt w/ a football on it, flannel pj pants, and swimshoes that are yellow and black and about two sizes too big for him! It was cute. Michaels sermon was really great, and I am happy too because we prayed for Kelly and Adam and laid our hands on them to wish them farewell. It has really become a reality to me now that they are moving. Kel's parents came from Ontario on Saturday and we got the privelege of spending the day with them today. We went out to Port Washington and Adam got splashed by Lake Michigan, and then we stopped off in Cedarburg to have lunch and visit the little shops that are there. We are exhausted though after all the fresh air and walking. My letters went out on Friday for my prayer/financial support, so I am praying that that goes well. This week is going to go too fast. We have a check up for Adalai, normal tasks that we accomplish during the week and then Thursday is our 4 year anniversary. Adam and Kelly are leaving during the night on Thursday... we plan to visit them in August with Michael and Elizabeth and I can't wait. Anyhow, looks like the weather is going to be nice this week, so that is one plus!
